As you may have heard, there may or may not be a presidential debate tomorrow. Apparently one candidate wants to postpone the debate and the other wants to proceed as planned. Do you like how vaguely non-partisan I’m being? I only mention this because the debate was to be focused on foreign policy, which would certainly be of interest to readers of FPA blogs. The debate was to be hosted by the University of Mississippi, broadcast by PBS and moderated by Jim Lehrer. I would personally be disappointed if this debate is postponed, but let's skip over this and proceed right to the point of this post, which is to provide some debate resources to help you prepare for this debate:
- PBS Election Coverage: Vote 2008
This is the primary website for PBS's election coverage, it features links to news videos as well as background on the candidates and their positions, as well as analysis. - 2008 Presidential Debate
This is the official website of tomorrow's debate featuring links to live and archived debate events. - Poynter - Presidential Debate History
This site offers resources and books about the history of presidential debates, including links to past debates.

The 1992 Presidential Debates with Ross Perot were not dull. His warnings have now come true. Replace John McCain with Ron Paul. Add Ralph Nader and Cynthia McKinney. Barack Obama must earn his victory, not win by default.
Thank you for your comment. I agree, Perot was never boring. Are you planning to watch the debate?
